On what working basis do you model?: Part Time/Freelance
How long have you been modeling?: 2 1/2 Years & I’m loving it.
What experiences do you have in modeling?: Runway/ Print/ Commercial/ Fashion
What do I enjoy most about modeling is that I love meeting new people and the challenge presented to create an amazing photo!
I was always told by people to model, because i enjoyed being in front of the camera. So I gave it a try and U have NO REGRETS… I LOVE IT…
I love wearing designer’s clothing and make them proud of their exceptional work. Representing everything that I’m modeling in a good positive way and I love rocking every shoot/fashion show I’m in… and give it that little extra something I’ve got …
I think the biggest challenge for a diverse model working in the mainstream is yourself. I believe your personality and being YOU it’s what’s going to book you jobs and being a professional at all times. There’s a lot of competition but you can’t let that get to you, CONFIDENCE IS KEY TO A SUCCESSFUL MODELING CAREER. Don’t be like others, just be yourself!
How do you keep fit?: I love to eat… I eat every 3 hrs, and keep myself fit by working out. My secret is P90X. I do it every day… different DVDs… its fun. (Personally, I don’t really like going to the gym, even though I do have a membership). I drink lots of WATER to have great, healthy looking skin.
What do you like to do when you are not modeling?: Love singing, being with family and friends. I do have a great time with them… Really enjoy shopping, (“I mean who doesn’t?”). Love outside activities like running and walking. Just love connecting with Nature!
As a model you do want to be successful. Be a role model for others that’s a great way to start. I don’t think that people should forget where they’re from and where they came from just because your made it to the top… I’m a humble person that loves life and everything about it.
Do you see yourself continuing to model in the next 5-10 years?: Hopefully yes, or always looking for greater and higher opportunities… Lets see where God wants to lead…
Do you any words of advice for new upcoming, aspiring diverse models?: Yes, when you start to see success in your life always remember where you come from and be humble. Don’t let fame and other things get to your head, because one day we can be on top and have all we could get but that goes away, but YOU and what YOU do will always be on your conscience. Help others arround you, let yourself be useful. Live your life with no regrets. Be professional at all that you do. Wish you all much success. Be a Blessing and be blessed.
